Blessing Buckets by Land, Sea, & Air

You may hear about the thousands of Blessing Buckets and life-sustaining relief supplies that are delivered and then distributed to hard hit areas after disaster strikes, but what happens once they arrive?  During many disaster situations, a church or community center will step up and become a distribution facility to hand out the precious materials to the people who can drive over and pick them up.  Many times, these distribution centers will aid thousands of people daily by handing them food, water, and hygiene products that have been graciously donated by organizations such as God’s Pit Crew.

However, what about the people who don’t have access to get to the distribution center?  In the wake of catastrophic storms, we have witnessed people be trapped on islands unable to access the main parts of their region.  We have seen little creeks turn into massive waterways that wash away roads and driveways, stranding people away from the rest of society.  And just this year, we watched the news in horror as Maui faced a devastating wildfire that destroyed their main shipping port, causing all shipments to be rerouted to the other side of the island completely.

But we have also seen God make a way for us to deliver the life-sustaining supplies to those who need it most in their times of turmoil.  Through our wonderful partnership with Agape Flights, we are able to fly loads of Blessing Buckets into areas that are unreachable by tractor-trailer.  Our dear friends at Operation Compassion helped us ship multiple containers of Blessing Buckets to the far side of Maui, where the buckets were then trucked to the devastated areas.

And many times, God’s people wearing red God’s Pit Crew volunteer shirts have walked many steps to hand-deliver Blessing Buckets to families who lost everything — delivering hope and light in a very dark time.
