GOD’S PIT CREW VOLUNTEERS PREPARE TO DEPLOY FOR TEXAS FLOOD IMPACTED AREAS

DANVILLE, VA. (July 8, 2025) – God’s Pit Crew is actively mobilizing to respond to the devastating flooding that recently struck Central Texas. In response to the widespread damage and urgent need for assistance, volunteer registration is now open for individuals who want to join this mission of hope.

Volunteers will travel to Central Texas and assist with vital flood restoration tasks, including cutting and removing downed trees, mucking out and clearing flooded homes, and providing emotional support and encouragement to flood survivors.

Volunteers looking to assist with this deployment are asked to register using the Volunteer Form located within the red banner on the God’s Pit Crew website (GodsPitCrew.org). This deployment will depart on Sunday, July 13 with plans to serve through Saturday, July 26, returning home the following day.

“The damage we’re seeing across the affected areas in Texas is extensive,” said Chris Chiles, God’s Pit Crew Immediate Disaster Response Coordinator. “Homes have been destroyed, families displaced, and lives turned upside down. We need boots on the ground – people willing to serve and bring hope to those who are hurting.”

In addition to volunteers, financial support is urgently needed to fuel the deployment. God’s Pit Crew relies on the generosity of donors to keep trucks supplied, equipment running, and volunteers equipped to respond quickly and effectively. Every gift directly supports relief efforts and helps bring practical assistance and God’s love to communities in crisis.
