In addition to our disaster relief and building projects, we have an on-going (every other Thursday) product distribution. Approved non-profit organizations pick up pallets of food, water, hygiene supplies, diapers, etc. and distribute these items to people in need throughout our area. Each year, we serve numerous other non-profit agencies. In turn, these agencies serve an additional 15,000+ local residents per month.
Since the inception of God’s Pit Crew in 1999, we have distributed over 100 million pounds of supplies worth an in-kind value of approximately 200 million dollars. Even though these numbers are overwhelming, God’s Pit Crew longs to do more, serve more, and bring more hope to people than ever before. This impact is only beginning.
Every other week, God's Pit Crew serves regional agencies through our Regional Distribution program. These numbers are based on the in-kind value of the product that is distributed regionally through our Distribution Center.
One of our partners – Celebration Church – has an ongoing Mobile Food Pantry Drive-Thru in which people from the community can hop in their cars and receive free, pre-bagged grocery items with ease.
