TORNADO RELIEF EFFORTS

In response to the deadly severe weather outbreak across multiple locations including Illinois, God’s Pit Crew has deployed critical relief supplies and volunteer aid to Kankakee and surrounding communities.

A team of Immediate Response volunteers are assisting with immediate needs and providing hands-on support for families and individuals affected by tornado damage in Kankakee, IL, from March 15 – March 28, 2026. Volunteers are assisting with damaged tree removal and roof tarping, while also providing emotional support to those struggling in the aftermath.

God’s Pit Crew’s first line of action to help areas impacted by unexpected disaster is to provide tractor-trailer loads of relief product (including pallets of generators, Blessing Buckets, bottled water, shelf stable food, etc.) to affected communities.
