WINTER STORM RESPONSE

In response to Winter Storm Fern’s devastating impact across multiple locations including Northeast Mississippi, God’s Pit Crew was able to deploy critical relief supplies and volunteer aid to Tippah County and surrounding regions.

A team of Immediate Response volunteers spent nearly a month assisting with immediate needs and providing hands-on support for families and individuals affected by the winter storm in Tippah County, MS, from January 28 – February 16, 2026. Volunteers assisted with damaged tree removal and roof tarping, while also providing emotional support to those struggling in the aftermath.

God’s Pit Crew’s first line of action to help areas impacted by unexpected disaster is to provide tractor-trailer loads of relief product (including pallets of generators, Blessing Buckets, bottled water, shelf stable food, etc.) to affected communities.
