We’re on a mission to deliver hope to communities affected by disaster across the nation and around the world, but a lot of that process first gets rolling at God’s Pit Crew Headquarters in Danville, Virginia.
This year alone, we’ve witnessed farmers lose their land and homes to raging wildfires in Texas – and families cry while recounting loved ones lost to deadly flood waters and mudslides in North Carolina. In such a heartbreaking time, God’s Pit Crew’s homebase volunteers were working hard to pack Blessing Buckets – and praying every step of the way – to help ease the pain of those experiencing such tragedy.
You see, when people impacted by deadly disasters unseal their Blessing Buckets they not only find crucial supplies like food, water, toothbrushes, first aid kits and more, but they find the hope of God. They see that someone miles away cared enough to pack this Blessing Bucket with care – over 30 items neatly tucked in – and the handwritten note on top urges them to keep moving forward because the stranger that packed the bucket is feverishly praying for God to provide peace and restoration in the days ahead.
Nearly 20,000 Blessing Buckets were packed at God’s Pit Crew Headquarters by thousands of volunteers in 2024, providing hope and healing for countless people recovering from harrowing disaster.
