Host a Be the Blessing Packing Event
A Be the Blessing Packing Event is a great way for your community to assemble Blessing Buckets filled with life-sustaining supplies that will go to someone affected by a natural disaster or crisis. We believe you will be surprised to see how easy it is to host an event, as we have everything you need to make your event seamless from start to finish!
Gather Volunteers
Invite your friends, family members, church members, and co-workers to help you pack Blessing Buckets. Anyone 12-and-above is welcome to participate. Children 16-and-under must be accompanied by an adult. Check out our Tool Bucket to help get started.
Choose Location
The chosen location must be a paved lot with at least a 100ft x 100ft space for the event, as well as additional room to fit two 8ft tractor-trailers.
Save the Date
God’s Pit Crew will work with you to set the perfect date for your Be the Blessing Packing Event. Find the event agreement and additional helpful information in the Tool Bucket.
Advertise Your Event
God’s Pit Crew provides turn-key content for your print and digital needs. We encourage your team to use email, social media, press releases, posters, and other avenues to let your community know about your event. It’s all in the Tool Bucket.
Raise the funds
Event costs include the cost of each Blessing Bucket ($35.00 each) plus a one-time event fee. During a one-day event, 1,000 Blessing Buckets will be assembled over 2 sessions: one morning session and one afternoon session. Volunteer Registration
All you have to do is have your volunteers register for your event, God’s Pit Crew will do the rest. We will assist you in tracking how many people are registered, as well as send reminder emails/texts, and follow up with the volunteers after your successful event.
Event Day
God’s Pit Crew’s Blessing Bucket leadership team will take if from here! We bring our Mobile Packing Unit prior to your event where your volunteers will help set up for the big day. We run the event while your team gets to enjoy the fun and fellowship of assembling Blessing Buckets. The end result? Hope for those who are hurting in the form of Blessing Buckets that your volunteers assembled!
