GOD’S PIT CREW DISPATCHES RELIEF SUPPLIES TO KENTUCKY FOLLOWING DEADLY FLASH FLOODING
DANVILLE, VA. (June 29, 2026) – God’s Pit Crew has mobilized disaster relief efforts to Kentucky by dispatching one of the ministry’s tractor-trailer units loaded with critical emergency supplies to Richmond, Kentucky, where it will support communities in Madison County and surrounding areas impacted by the weekend’s deadly flash flooding.
The Virginia-based faith-centered disaster response ministry is sending the relief shipment from its headquarters in Danville to assist local officials and emergency response partners serving flood-ravaged communities throughout the Bluegrass State. The load includes pallets of God’s Pit Crew’s signature Blessing Buckets, children’s Play Pails, gallon containers of water, electrolyte drinks, and other essential resources to help families as they begin the difficult process of cleanup and recovery.
God’s Pit Crew’s Blessing Buckets are five-gallon sealed containers filled with more than 30 emergency essentials, including nonperishable food, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, a first aid kit, and a Bible. The ministry’s children’s Play Pails provide hygiene necessities alongside blankets, toys, activity supplies, and other comforting items designed to provide a welcome distraction to children during times of crisis.
As floodwaters continue to recede across portions of central Kentucky, the full scope of damage is still being assessed. God’s Pit Crew is working directly with local officials and emergency management leaders to ensure relief supplies are delivered where they are needed most while remaining prepared to respond as additional needs arise in the days ahead.

“We’ve seen firsthand the strength of these communities, but we also know the tremendous challenges families face after the floodwaters recede. As needs continue to unfold, we’re committed to working alongside local officials to provide the relief and support these communities need in the days ahead.”
The ministry’s Immediate Response team will remain in close communication with officials and community partners throughout Madison County and neighboring counties to monitor evolving needs and determine what additional support may be required in the coming days and weeks.
This deployment comes as God’s Pit Crew is simultaneously responding to flooding in Louisiana, where Immediate Response volunteers and equipment have deployed to assist families in St. Landry Parish with flooded home muck outs, debris removal, and other recovery efforts.
