The Immediate Response arm of God’s Pit Crew responded to Bryan County, Georgia, because of damage caused by tornadoes. This quick deployment from April 10-16, 2022, focused on cutting trees, debris clean-up, and demolishing damaged structures.
Twenty-two volunteers participated in this trip, accumulating 1,940 volunteer hours, and averaging 13.5 volunteers working each day of the trip. A total of eight projects were assessed & completed. With the cooperation and assistance of a group of local volunteers, one family received a new mobile home following the deployment to replace one which was destroyed by the storm.
