DANVILLE, VA. (August 20, 2021) – Devastating flash floods.  The remnants of Tropical Storm Fred have caused catastrophic flooding in Canton, North Carolina, and the surrounding area, destroying homes and businesses and claiming lives.

God’s Pit Crew volunteers and staff are deploying to help on Saturday, August 21st, and will stay through Saturday, September 4th, or longer if needed, bringing tractor-trailer trucks filled with equipment and supplies, plus Blessing Buckets filled with food, personal and hygiene items, and a Bible.   We are also providing equipment and volunteers to help clear trees and debris, muck out homes, help with mold remediation, and provide hope and help for those impacted by this disaster.

God’s Pit Crew Founder and President Randy Johnson says, “With so much going on in the world, we want to be sure those impacted by this disaster receive help.  It’s a terrible situation and we are grateful to be able to bring volunteers and supplies to the area.”
