Volunteers MUST sign up to participate in these Blessing Bucket opportunities.
Note: In March, the Prep Shop will be closed the week of March 18th due to setting up for the 25th Annual Benefit Banquet.
Come and be blessed by serving with us to meet the needs of someone in disaster. If you plan to bring a group of 10 or more, you MUST schedule your group with Betty McDaniel by calling (434) 836-4472 ext 143 or emailing Betty@GodsPitCrew.org.
We will be completing different tasks on different days, so please sign up for whichever days/tasks you are available. If you cannot stay the entire time, that’s okay — we appreciate any time you can give! Just enter the time you can work within the hours posted in the “comments” part of your registration. Please enter at our Blessing Bucket entrance located at 132 Parkland Drive, Danville, Virginia, 24540.
The warehouse is not climate controlled in all spaces, so please dress in layers. CLOSED-TOE SHOES ARE REQUIRED for your safety, and volunteers MUST be at least 10-years-old to help out. You do not have to be a registered volunteer to help. If you are not a registered volunteer, save time by filling out the one-time project volunteer form and bringing it with you (the form is located under “related files”).
