Rolling Fork, Mississippi, Rebuild Project | Volunteer Opportunity:

Thank you for your interest in signing up to join us for this amazing experience! God’s Pit Crew will restore hope to the Williamson family who lost their home due to the tornado outbreak last year in Rolling Fork, Mississippi.

Tentatively, a team will leave the Hope Hauler Lot at God’s Pit Crew in Danville, Virginia, on Tuesday, April 2, at 6:30 AM to travel to a designated stopping location for the night, and then will arrive in Rolling Fork, Mississippi, on Wednesday, April 3 (two travel days). Work will begin on Thursday, April 4. *THERE WILL NOT BE ANOTHER TEAM LEAVING FROM DANVILLE, VIRGINIA AFTER APRIL 2.* Work will continue through April 17, with a planned presentation the morning of Thursday, April 18. The team will then begin the return home after the presentation. All volunteers are welcome and encouraged to stay for the home reveal presentation!

If you plan to travel with the team and ride in a God’s Pit Crew vehicle from headquarters in Danville, Virginia, then you must be prepared to stay the entire time. *IF YOU DO NEED A RIDE WITH THE TEAM, PLEASE CONTACT KIM AT KIM@GODSPITCREW.ORG OR CALL THE OFFICE – WE MUST KNOW BY MARCH 27* If you want to travel with the team and follow in your own personal vehicle, you are welcome to do so — please note it in the comments.  You may also plan to meet the team at the housing site listed in the sign-up link.  Arrival at the housing site is scheduled for approximately 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 3.

• We do provide housing for all of our volunteers.  You will need an air mattress, bedding, hygiene items, and any other personal items.  There will be a shower trailer onsite and laundry service, if needed (no linens will be washed).  Towels and washcloths will be provided.     
• God’s Pit Crew will have a chef preparing all meals; drinks and snacks will be provided at the housing site as well as the job site.  *IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR EVERYONE TO SIGN-UP SO WE CAN HAVE THE NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS FOR LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS, AND TO LET THE CHEFS KNOW HOW MANY THEY WILL BE SERVING EACH DAY.
